Big TPT News… A new trail Kiosk has been completed and installed. It marks the official “Starting Location” of the Tahoe-Pyramid Trail.
The new kiosk is located in what is known as the “64 Acre Park” which is a well-known lake-access area in Tahoe City, California. (More park and parking info can be found here https://www.tcpud.org/parks-recreation/facilities-parks-and-rentals/parks/64-acres-park.)
As if this writing, from this location, the Tahoe-Pyramid Trail extends for an uninterrupted 59.5 miles all the way to Vista Blvd in Sparks, Nevada.
(and there are two other non-connected trail sections after that)
The funds for this Kiosk design, building, and installation were generously provided by a Parasol Tahoe Community Foundation.<More info about the Parasol Tahoe Community Foundation can be found here: https://www.parasol.org/>
Please make sure to check it out!
And a Big Thanks to all the TPT Volunteers that made this happen!
