The Tahoe-Pyramid Trail “Cookie Ride” made it back this year! After missing the 2020 Cookie Ride due to Covid, on, May 23, 2021, about 35 to 45 riders braved the threatening weather and came to enjoy the homemade cookies baked by volunteers at the lovely Crystal Peak Park in Verdi. Between 12 and 14 volunteer bakers created a lovely variety of delicious cookies!
Janet Phillips gave a short speech welcoming the riders, thanking them for their support, and reminding everyone that this event is really just to celebrate the opening of the Mogul Bike Path which was TPT’s first project, and not a “donation event” (though there was a donation jar just in case anyone felt so inclined).
