Why this trail matters
More than a path between two lakes.
The Tahoe-Pyramid Trail is being built to connect people with the Truckee River corridor, surrounding landscapes, and the communities along the way. It creates places to walk, ride, explore, volunteer, and experience northern Nevada and the eastern Sierra in a more direct and meaningful way.
- Connection — Linking Lake Tahoe to Pyramid Lake through a route that brings people closer to the land and to one another.
- Stewardship — Every mile cared for reflects volunteer effort, community support, and long-term commitment to the trail.
