 APRIL 2022 News

 Update on Hirschdale Road Access

Trail users should know that the gate and motion-activated siren on Hirschdale Road (pictured below) are intended to keep vehicles out.  It is OK for bikes and hikers to continue up the road.  Please do not venture off the road, as it is private property. Visit TahoePyramidTrail.org for more information and gate location.

Celebratory Cookie Ride May 22

Each year individuals, families, riding clubs, running clubs, and friends' groups celebrate the trail's Mogul-Verdi Trail opening in 2005 by planning a ride or run ending at Crystal Peak Park in Verdi. Celebrators are warmly greeted and served fresh homemade cookies and lemonade as everyone enjoys an opportunity to mingle with other riders and sample the delicious treats.

Tahoe Pyramid Trail Introduces the "Builders' Circle"

In response to special requests from major donors, the Tahoe Pyramid Trail is creating a new level of giving. The Builders' Circle will recognize donors who give at the $5,000 level and above. This is a big step up from the Century Circle ($100) and the Millenial Circle ($1,000) and we are grateful for everyone able to make such a generous donation.

Thanks to 1st Quarter Century Circle ($100+) Donors!

Thank you, Jeff and Tracy Turner, and Valerie Truce for working the Trail Exhibit at the Leprechaun race in March. We hope to actively outreach to the community at 6 to 8 events in 2022. Event outreach is a fun and ideal way to help build support for the Tahoe Pyramid Trail for a 2 to 3 person team.
