After last year’s 2020 Cookie-Ride Cancellation due to Covid, we are happy to announce that the Annual Cookie Ride (now semi-annual it seems) is back on for 2021 and we are so looking forward to this “in-person” event celebrating the anniversary of the Mogul-Verdi trail section 2005 opening!
As in past years, homemade cookies and lemonade will be served at Crystal Peak Park in Verdi from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Each participating bike club, running club, and friends’ groups (or individuals) will be planning their own departure time and place to ensure arrival at the Cookie Ride Event in time to celebrate.
Can you volunteer? We still need volunteer bakers! Since we serve only home-baked cookies, and we need more bakers to make 2-dozen cookies each. To volunteer, email Anna Bell at .
