Volunteers have installed four of five kiosks with new information signs along the trail in the canyon. There will be a total of five installed when the project is complete. The Tahoe-Pyramid Trail Building contractor and advisors will be construction on the final link of the one-mile section in May 2019. This “final section” of the Truckee Canyon (Hirschdale to Verdi) will complete this section of the trail and remove the problematic detour around Floriston that included a section that included forced travel on the READ FULL POST >
